A few weeks ago, I started an acrylic painting by wiping leftover paint on a piece of canvas paper as I was working on other projects. Some strokes were made with a credit card, and an abstract began to take an interesting shape, so I filled in and blended some of the areas to come up with this painting. While working on this and listening to public radio, I was thinking of the terrible disaster in Japan. I call this painting "Tsunami.".
